Dr. Johnson, a Denver, CO native headed East to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a dentist. A Rutgers University alum and graduate of New York University Dental School, he advanced his knowledge and training receiving his Certificate of Endodontics from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio while earning his Masters Degree in Science in Dentistry. Dr. Johnson an intellectual and progressive-minded clinician, won an award in 2011 from the American Association of Endodontists for his research on new treatment techniques within endodontics.
Dr. Johnson is on staff at Interfaith Medical Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. His responsibilities as the Endodontic attending include lecturing, teaching dental residents, and management of dental trauma emergencies. Dr. Johnson stays abreast of new and current treatment technologies and endodontic modalities. He is a key opinion leader and official speaker for Coltene, a dental equipment manufacturing company. He lectures nationally and internationally on current trends within endodontics, endodontic products, and provides continuing education courses for dental professionals.
Dr. Johnson is an active member of numerous organizations including; American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, National Dental Association as well as the New York State Dental Association. Dr. Johnson's motto "Lift as you climb" illustrates his commitment to patient care and community involvement. Dr. Johnson served as a volunteer treating communities abroad on outreach programs to Jamaica with his alma mater NYU, providing free care to those most in need. In addition, Dr. Johnson founded Operation Dental Success a program in which he lectures to local students highlighting dentistry as a career while promoting proper oral hygiene.
Dr. Johnson, an astute clinician, and visible community activist dedicate himself to optimum patient care, with the goal of treating every patient "Like family!"
