Dr. Dawn Weldon

Dr. Dawn Weldon serves as the on-call emergency Endodontist for City Endodontics in addition to Dr. Johnson. Dr. Weldon also treats patients on select Fridays and Saturdays in our Manhattan practice. Originally from North Carolina, Dr. Weldon graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a BA degree in Psychology and a minor in Chemistry and continued her education receiving her Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition. Dr. Weldon was always passionate about healthcare and was fortunate to pursue her academic endeavors and interest at NYU College of Dentistry, earning a degree in dental surgery (DDS).

She explored many different specialties and although excelled in esthetics; she realized that she wanted to pursue the area in which she was most felt, she was making a timely impact, Endodontics. Following NYUCD, she completed a general practice residency in dentistry at the VA Hospital in Manhattan, and completed her specialty residency in Endodontics at the VA Hospital where she was the favorite dentist of many veterans due to her relatable and kind nature balanced with her precision in delivering high quality care to those in pain.

Since her residency, Dr. Weldon has been involved in hospital, corporate, and private dentistry. She believes in making patients feel as comfortable as possible while providing them with the best care and quality service.
